Ahoy There - HH Challenge 1

BRADS
So many new challenges this week, but this is one I definetly cannot miss, not only because there are so many of my favourite bloggers on the DT but also I love these cute stamps they are just so perfect for the Grandchildrens cards. So why not click
here and see for yourself.

I have made a card like this before, but hope this is an improvement on that one. All the stamps are from HH Pirates collection. I have done my first bit of masking, after I had stamped up the treasure chest I masked it and stamped the map over it, really pleased with how it turned out. Map was stamped with Brown Versafine ink and distressed with Antique Paper TH Inks. I have added beads to the treasure chest and small pieces of eight in the corner these are all from stash as are the brads which I think came from Poppicraft, but don't quote me.

Autumn Walk - Tilda & Co

An Autumn Walk
Tilda & Co Challenge

There is a nice easy sketch to follow on Tilda & Co Challenge this week, I recommend you drop in and see my Fellow DTs fantastic work and get started on it.

Tilda has been walking in the woods today picking up leaves, berries and nuts for her school nature table, (teachers pet). All the stamps used are magnola, and have been coloured with distress Inks, I have layered all the leaves berries etc in the corner with Silicone, the ovals ave been cut with Nesties, I also used silicone for the tree trunk for Tilda to sit on. The papers are BG and the ribbon from a box of Chocolates thats why the bow has had to be stuck on the front, not to happy with this.

Snow Patrol - Penny Black Saturday Challenge

SEASONS

At Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week we are asking you to make a project or card depiciting one of the 4 seasons. Bless you Kath!!! To join in with the challenge and see the rst of my fellow DT's fantastic cards press here.

This image is great to colour with lots of little detail, the base card is pearlised dark green, and the image has been matted onto pearlised dark red. The Designer Paper is BG. I have run some more green pearlised card through the snowflake cuttlebug folder and then sanded it for added interest. The snowflakes have been also been cut with CB, rest from stash.

Have a great time all you lucky girls going to Ally Pally this weekend, wish I could join you, don't spend to much lol.

Let it Snow - CCT

LOTS OF SPARKLE
Thats the challenge on Cute Card Thursday, with Christmas just 3 months away (sorry about that) sparkle could only mean Christmas Cards and with this lovely Sugar Nellie Snowman falling through my letterbox this morning I couldn't wait to get started. There is a really Cute Stamp as candy for the winner this week and also some great cards from the DT so why not join go over there and join in.

I have decided to make my Snowman in to a Snowlady, hope he/she dosn't mind, and have coloured her with Distress Inks and lots of H20's. Papers are from last years stock, and have been matted onto blue and pink SU card, Ribbon is from this months Raspberry Ribbons kit, I have punched the snowflakes from Glitter Card which dosn't realy show up, rest from stash. I think I was a bit too eager to work with this stamp and next time will add the glitter a bit more sparingly, I don't like it around her face or on her lantern so am not to happy with the overall effect, it was going to go in the bin, but then I realised I havn't got much more of this great paper left, So!!!!

Hello - Tilda & Friends

SOMETHING DIFFERENT
Tilda & Friends have asked us to do something different with our ATC's this week, what a good idea. I have decided to 3d mine onto an image holder to send to a friend.

This Hangler Stamp has so many uses with her holding her little message banner. She has been coloured with Distress Inks and 3d onto the ATC, I have added a fabric brad and little pink paperclip from Poppicrafts. The Dp are all little scraps. The flowers are from stash. I have had a lot of queries as to the punched leaves, this punch is called Ash Branch and can be found at JDG Crafts it is quite expensive but I use it a lot.

Helping Hands - Stamp Something

Stamp Something - Embellish something

What a lovely challenge it is this week from Stamp Something Challenge, I am trying to work on improving my use of embellishments and everytime I visit your blogs I study your creations for ideas, so this is a chance to see if I have learnt anything. I have used one of the Fabulous Nikkis sketches, that you can find here Thanks. Nikki she has some really unusal sketches for us to use so please go and see them.

This is the first time I have coloured up this WOJ image she is so beautiful and what a wonderful Mothers Day Card she would make, Melinda has been coloured with distress inks and H20's and is rather more pastel than I usual paint my images, but I like it. Papers are Basic Gray and K & Co mounted onto Green and Pink Brazill Basics. I was tidying up all my boxes and found lots of punches I forgot I had, the little white doileys were punched with one of these, I think I bought it from C&C. Corners were cut on CB, sentiment ticket stamps are from Autumn Leaves, rest from stash.

Sunday Drive - A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge

This weeks Challenge is - Charming
To use a charming character or Charms on your card this is the challenge A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge has set this week. Come on have a go we love to see your fabulous creations.

We have a fabulous prize this week of a CC Design "Wintertime Fun" Stamp kit which has been very kindly donated by Bryony from Silly Monkey Crafts. This cute little set comes in a metal storage tin. As usual my Fellow DT members have come up with some great takes on this charming theme so why not go and have a look.

Owen is taking Olivia for a romantic Sunday drive, I wonder if he is going to pop the question this afternoon. This is another cute PM stamp, I have cut the hearts with Nesties, and the strip of Mauve Brazill Bling was punched with a daisy punch I have had for ages. The papers are left overs from previous cards that were on my desk and I thought they matched quite well. The flower embellishment with feathers was an idea I borrowed from Debbie, and swirls were cut on CB, Charm from Crafty Krafts.

The papers are Figgy Pudding by BG, ribbon by Poppicraft, sentiment is WOJ and the rest from stash. Sorry for the poor quality of the picture my daylight bulb went pop, will have to get a new one.

Christmas Purse - Double Dutch Challenge

I found this new Challenge Blog quite by accident when visiting Marlenes fantastic blog last night, Although as the name suggest Double Dutch, is run by Dutch Girls they have kindly written it in english as well so we can all have a go, the instructions for this little purse are on the Blog, and is very easy to make. So go on have a go

I used SU red card for the base and a sheet of 12x12 paper from last years christmas stash, so sorry don't know who it is by. I have used all the stamps from the christmas set of Forever Friends, coloured with Distress Inks and H20's. All the sentiment stamps on the tags are by PB, the little round sentiment is by SU, Flower stamped with Stempleglede Retro Flower and cut with Retro Punch, everything else from stash.

Two in One - Ismaki and Cute Card Thursday

It is not very often I manage to combine my challenge entries, but I knew the image I wanted to use but didn't have a layout I liked, so was going to skip Cute Card Thursday this week and then I looked on Ismaki and found this brilliant sketch which seemed to fit the bill so voila.

This Scary King of the Jungle!!!! is another of Janets wonderful stamps from Spiral Whisper, and I hope he qualifies for Cute Card Thursday theme of Cats and Dogs. He has been coloured with (would you guess) Distress Inks, with Gold stickles on his crown. The great backing papers are a download from Shabby Princess, After seeing Beckys use of wire lately I thought I would have a go so this green wire, which is the stem of the pink flowers, has been wound round a pencil and then stretched out. The two sentiment stamps are PB rest is from stash.

Blue Christmas - A Spoonful of Sugar

Challenge 17 ~ Christmas is coming

I was asked to be Guest Designer for 4 weeks by Debbie & Nikki of A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge, this was to be my last card, but to my great surprise they have asked me to join the DT on a permanent basis, Wow!!! as you can image I jumped at the chance, who wouldn't want to work with such a talented bunch of ladies, so thanks Debbie & Nikki, hope I live up to expectantions.

We would love to see you make a Christmas card this week, as you now you can now use any make of stamp. There is a great stamp donated by the Fantastically talented Lim for one lucky person this week so come on and join us this week. There are some beautiful cards from my fellow DT members to give you inspiration.

Celtic Princess - Friday Sketchers

Heidi from Norway has given us a really great sketch to work from on Friday Sketchers Challenge, thank you Heidi. The Dt members have produced some beautiful cards if you need inspirtion.

This beautiful Elizabeth Bell stamp from WOJ is a joy to colour (excuse the pun), She reminds me of a Lavender and Lace Cross Stitch Chart I used a couple of years ago, I think it was called Celtic Winter, I have used the colours in that embroidery as inspiration for the colouring. She has been coloured with Distress Inks and H20's with Sukura Silver Stardust pen, this doen't show up very well on the photo but is really shimmery IRL. Papers are BG Figgy Pudding matted onto Dark Blue Pearlised card, Snowflakes cut on Cuttlebug. Rest from Statsh.
