Abigail

I had great fun colouring this beautiful Digital Image called Abigail from Just Inklined, I have lots of colour schemes just waiting to be tried with the image.  I would love to have been around at the right time to wear one of these hats.

I haven’t added much to the card as the image says it all, the papers are by FabScrap, the Ribbon and Dazzle centre are from Creative Studio, the feathers are from a local department store.  The image has been coloured with copics.  I am afraid the photo is not very good but have tried to edit.

Autumn is coming

What a dismal title but it wasn'’t really the weather that prompted this it was the lovely Autumnal Colours of the backing paper.  It seems to be getting later and later in the morning for me being able to post my card, its not that I am a lay-in bed sort of person, I am usual up before 5.30, I just seem to find more things to do before I can get up here in my craft room.

Tue1

I have used another of the Turning Leaves Collection of Tildas today which I received from Bunny Zoes Craft at the weekend, I just love her little pot belly in this image.  I was not happy with how I coloured her hair on this one, but because of the time factor it will have to do.  The backing paper is also from the Magnolia Turning Leaves Collection, not my sort of colours at all, but it hasn’t turned out to bad.

Tue2

Hope you have a good day

Hopeful

Morning Peeps, well the sun didn’t last long did it, another grey day, just right for spending your time crafting.  I do hope it cheers up as the Olympic Flame is coming through the village on 19th July and of course I will down there to cheer it on its way,  So although the title of this post is the name of todays stamp it is also how I am feeling.

Oyster3

This gorgeous image is by Wee Stamps for Whimsey, as I said before her name is “Hopeful”.  I have coloured her with Copics and Pencils.  The Papers are from my stash but I now they are from a Tilda Paper Pad but I am afraid I don’t know which one.  The stunning Floral Square behind the image is by Memory Box.  I have used some bright pink seam binding from The Ribbon Girl to threrad through the Whimsey Double Scallop Border Die.

J & C Creations Challenge DT Card

Morning all, there is a big yellow ball in the sky this morning does anyone know what it is?

This week saw a new challenge posted on J & C Creations Challenge the Theme is ANYTHING GOES, we are sponsored once again by J & C Creations with a £20 voucher to be spent on their extensive website, it is not necessary to use J & C Products on your cards and the only rule is no back linking, so why not pop over and come and join us, you have to be in it to win it.

JC1

I have a lot of non crafty things going on here at the moment so I have made a really quick card I think the whole thing took 45 minutes, that is a record for me.  The fab christmas image is from The Heartfelt Creations Snowy Windows stamp set, it was stamped with Stazon and has lots of Glamour Dust added (which appears invisible on this photo).  I have used Sizzix On The edge Snow Flurries Die down the edge of the card which was distressed with Black Soot Distressed Ink and then liberally sprinkled with Glamour Dust.  The Flowers and Branches were cut from black card with Sizzix Big Z Tattered Pinecone Die.

Bingo

Well I must admit I am so pleased Friday 13th is now over and done with, 13 has always been a lucky number to me but boy oh boy yesterday was the pits.

I did promise to post my Just Magnolia & hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge DT Card yesterday afternoon but the day and evening just run away from me and before I knew it it was Midnight.  I managed to get to sleep and then was rudely awoken by my Telephone ringing, by the time it had registered and I had managed to answer the phone they had rung off, I did the normal and rang 1471 only to be told they did not have the number, Grrrrrrr!!!!, of course all sorts of scenarios went through my head, had something happened to one of the boys, who had been celebrating my youngest 29th Birthday etc etc. So it ended up to be about 3am before I finally dozed off, to again be awoken at 6am by Mum calling out that she didn’t think she was well enough to go to school today, so I finally gave up on all thoughts of sleep and came up here.

JM1

Well thats my moan over so back to crafting, as i said this is my DT Card for the Just Magnolia & hAnglar and stAnglar Challenge, the challenge this week is BINGO

image

I have chosen the diagonal line Wings, Flowers, Lilac.  I received some of the lovely new release Tildas from Nikki at Bunny Zoes Craft, this one is called Goosebump Tilda, once again this is another of those Tilda images that is a dream to colour.  The papers are by Pion Designs, and I have used a number of Doo Hickey Floral Dies to make the flowers.

Time for some DIY

Morning all its going to be a quick one this morning as I am going to sort out my wardrobe today, most of my summer clothes have not seen the light of day since last September and I may find I need to buy just a few more before my holiday lol!!! (as if I need an excuse), so that may also mean a trip to Canterbury.

OS1

This is Home Improvements stamp from the Kenny K range by Whimsey Stamps, The Greeting  and corner are both by Whimsey Dies.  The delicious papers are from the Basic Grey Konnichiwa Pad, love the colours in this pad.  The rolled roses and swirl are also made with paper from the same pad.

The Time Keeper

Morning Peeps, brrrrr!!!!! its really cold down here today just the right weather to spend the day crafting.  Hope it warms up before the end of the month as I am going down to the Caravan at Rye Harbour with the grandchildren for a well earned rest at the end of this month, cannot wait a whole fortnight away.  After fighting for 5 years I have actually been award a small sum of money to help pay for a live in carer for mum, although it only covers one week, I don’t mind paying the balance just to get away and have a rest, hope that doesn’t sound mercenary.
Sam
Last week I received another of Sam Pooles fabulous DT packages, I always get excited when her parcels fall on my mat as I know they will be full of lush crafty stash and something completely different.  In the parcel was Sams new stamp set “The Time Keeper” the A5 sheets includes the large image on this card which was stamped with an Emboss Ink Pad and embossed with WOW copper embossing Powder, the two different size cog stamps are also on the stamp sheet as is the fabulous clock face which I stamped in black then Triple embossed.  Also in the package where two other large background stamps Newsprint, which has been stamped distressed, torn and then popped behind the main image, and also the Hexagon Stamp which I again stamped with the Embossing Ink Pad and Wow Copper Distress Powder.  The Sprocket Gears, Decorative Clock Hand, Copper Chain and bulldog clip are all by Tim Holtzs.
Different for me I know but I do hope you like.

Flutterbuy Butterfly

Happy Sunday all.  I am trying to get all my work and craft done this morning so I can relax and watch the tennis this afternoon, I would love Andy Murray to win but I think he has already won by just getting to the final, the trouble with us Brits is we put to much pressure on our sportsmen and women, the amount of coverage the poor man got in the papers and on TV this morning is enough to make anyone want to run away.

Right then down to todays card.

My favourite Tilda today, she has been coloured with Spectrum Noirs on Neenah Classic card, the colours and a little tutorial can be found on the Spectrum Noir Blog.

The papers are a mixture of Magnolia and Nitwits Collections.  The Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have used a couple of Doo Hickey Dies, (Fence, Label and Dragon Fly) available from Crafts U Love.   White Flower Guipure Lace, White Seam Binding and the Heart Charm are all from the Ribbon Girl.

Ho Ho Ho Christmas

Not a stamped image in sight on this post, I am not a CD crafter but since receiving my DT copy of Mulberry Wood CD from Crafters Companion I have been itching to make a card from The CD, I just fell in love with the images.  As the Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge for July is “Ho Ho Ho Christmas it was a perfect excuse to get crafting.  I do hope you can come and join in with this Months Challenge, we have a fabulous £30 voucher to spend on the website for one lucky person and you are not restricted to Crafters Companion products.

CC1

I have used a 6” gatefold card as the base for this creation, I used A3 Snow White Centura Pearl Card to create the base, the papers are all from the CD, Red Centura Pearl card from The Christmas Pack was also used for the matting and Layer along with another item I very seldom used Gold Mirra Card.

The flowers were made by cutting the smallest die from the Doo Hickey Pionsettia Set was used to make the flowers and Gold Halo Glitter has been added to the centre of the flowers.  The leaves were die cut from the Red Centura Pearl Card.  The 2 images were from the Toppers section of the Mulberry Wood CD.

CC2

The inside of the card was made again using Toppers Sentiments and Decoupage from the CD.  The Little Hanging Charm is made with the fabulous Square Epiphnay Tool, an small image from the CD, Square Bubble Cap and the matching Square Charm Setting.  There are lots of different shapes available in the Epiphany Collection, they are excellent for not only making your own charms but also for jewellery .

I will be back later with a stamped card.
