LOTV Final Sneak Peek - Jasmine Coffee

What a beautiful morning it is down here in Kent, maybe I will manage to get some time in the garden, it certainly needs some work as I was unable to do anything in it last year.

Well the waiting is nearly over and all of you who have pre-ordered your Lili of the Valley Teenage stamps will soon hear them popping through your letterbox, you will not be  disappointed I promise, they are just so useful and a joy to colour.

So today my final sneak peek is of my favourite stamp Jasmine Coffee, this is a CAS card for me but the fabulous backing paper seemed to fit the image perfectly and need no additions.  The paper was from Maja Designs "Coffee in the Arbour" 6" x 6" paper stack available from Ribbon Girl this pack also contains a couple of sheets of Butterflies that can be cut out and used on your creations as I have done , they have some delicious papers in stock, click here to go and take a look, I really want them all :).

I have also used a sentiment from LOTV Teenage Girl Sentiments - Set 100.

Does anyone know where I can get a Watermark made, when my old PC crashed I lost mine.

 Copics used on this image:

The Beautiful Game - LOTV

Who says girls don't play football? I am sure we all know girls who are as good or if not better than the boys, my Grand-daughter Lucy is one of them, the first thing she does on Saturday morning is get the football from the garage and have a kick about.  So this fabulous stamp from Lili of the Valley Little Folk - The Beautiful Game is perfect.  The Little Folk stamps come 2 to a sheet with plenty of sentiments as well, great value I am thinking.

The papers are from stash I think they were by Craft Creations, I have used 2 of small clouds from a die set, as the dies are not in their original packaging I am not sure where they came from, sorry,  The bunting was cut from both backing papers and glued just along the top edge, so it looks as if its blowing in the wind, the Bunting Die is by La La Land crafts.

The photos are still not the best, but I am slowly getting there.

Copics used:

Reds: R89, R29, R24, R22,
Skin: E11, E21, E50, E51
Hair E74, E71, E40, E59
Greys: C3, C1, C0

I am entering this card for the great sketch on Sketch Saturday Challenge

When All Else Fails There's Football

A bit late today, in fact I wasn't sure if I would have a card to post, but found some spare time this afternoon, so its back to Lili of the Valley Sneak Peeks.  This is going to be the most useful of the new Stamps for me as 3 of the Grandsons are avid football players and fans, I cannot say I am enamoured of their choice of teams, 2 support West Ham and the other Tottenham, as a life long Arsenal Fan you would think one of them would side with their Nan.

Enough Football and down to the card, I have used Oliver - Kicking About.  with Sentiments from Teenage-Boy-Sentiments, there are 30 sentiments on this sheet lots of unusual but useful words.  Oliver has been coloured with (Copics colours below) and is a very simple layout for me, just one die and no embellies I had to sit on my hands to stop myself adding anything else, ended up having to have a stiff cup of tea after finishing.  The Banner was cut with a Joy Craft  Cutting & Embossing Die - Banners from Noor Designs UK

Copics Used

Hair: E18. E15. E51
Jacket: E43, E42, E40 Dk Brown PC Pencil
Trousers: E74, E71, E70
Trainers: E43, E40,
Rucksack: Y28, G81, E43, R89, R39
Football: C8, C5, C3, C1

I am g0ing to enter my First Challenge since my Comeback this is for:

Have a good Friday evening or what is left of it, thanks for visiting

After rather a long break (2.1/4 years to be exact), I am struggling to remember how to post here, I am sure I had a programme where I wrote the blog and added images then imported it, if you have any idea what I mean I would be glad of some help Pleeeease.

Mum finally gave up her struggle with that wicked disease Dementia (after 10 years) about a month ago, she was still at home and went peacefully surrounded by the people she loved.  I am telling you because so many of you lovely people always asked about her, of course I miss her and there is a massive hole to be filled in my life after all this time, so it was with pure joy that I took up the offer from my dear sweet friends Lisa and Laila from Lili of the Valley to once again work on some sneak peeks from my favourite stamp company.

So may I present Oliver Game Boy he can be pre ordered from the website as of now for despatch on 31st March.  There are 4 new Oliver Stamps in this new release and all are great for those difficult Teenage Boys cards, as a Nan to 5 Grandsons these fantastic images will be a godsend to me.

I am still struggling with my Copics at the moment been practising for a few days but the fact that I threw away my stamping card last year and am working on some old white card I found may be part of the reason.

I have listed the Copics I have used at the bottom of this post, do people still do this, I always found it so helpful so I will continue if you would like me to.   The papers  are from an old pad I bought at The Range about 4 years ago, have lost the front cover so cannot give you the name of it.  Buttons and Twine are from the Ribbon Girl, the Sentiment is from another new release available to Pre Order this one is Teenage Boy, are 6 new sentiment sets in this release.  Whilst on the website don't forget to check out the return of some old favourites.

Well other then giving you the list of Copics, I will stop boring you and say thanks for looking then sign off, wow it feels as if I have run a marathon lol.

Copic Colours

Flesh: E11, E21, E00, E0000
Reds: R46, R17, R02, R89
Greens: YG09, YG07, YG05, YG06
Greys: CV9, C7, C5, C3
Hair E71, E40, E43

Big Hugs and its great to be back
